Research and Development

As a Teaching School we recognise the important value of Research and Development to improve and refine educational practices and pedagogy.

We have several teachers across the Alliance taking part in a range of research projects in our Primary and Secondary Schools in the context of classroom practice. We believe strongly that R & D is an important part of the continual professional development of teachers as it provides an invaluable opportunity for teachers to learn collaboratively and creatively to embed outstanding practice in our schools.

Current Research Projects

We hope that in the near future we will be part of a research project with Dr Linda Saunders Focusing on 'Reluctant Readers Yr 6 - Yr 8'
