The Catholic Certificate in Religious Education (CCRS) offers an introduction to the central teaching and beliefs of the Catholic Church. The modules are taught through lectures and group discussions in a friendly environment. The CCRS is important for teachers in Catholic schools and can help them make the progress they want in their career as a leader in the Catholic sector.
What is covered on the CCRS?
There are eight modules: six core modules & two specialist modules. The core modules explore the Person of Jesus Christ, the Scriptures, the Church and its Sacramental life and Moral Teachings. Each module will be assessed.

January 2019- March 2020
2 consecutive Wednesdays each term
(16 Wednesdays in total across the course)
